Valerie's Expertise

Valerie joined Ariel in 2018 and focuses on institutional business development and client services. Previously, she spent 17 years as director of sales and marketing for Holland Capital Management. Prior to that, Valerie was vice president of marketing for T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. Outside of Ariel, Valerie is a member of La Rabida Children’s Hospital Board and serves on the executive committee of the Illinois Arts Council Board. She is also a member of the Women Investment Professionals, National Association of Securities Professionals, National Black MBA Association, Chicago Urban League, Goodman Business Council, and National Association of Corporate Directors. Valerie earned a BA in architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA from Clark Atlanta University.
