Fazal's Expertise

Fazal is President and Chief Financial Officer of Wiz, a cloud security leader. He recently served as Co-CEO of Tanium Inc., a leading high-growth global cyber-security and IT management firm. He currently sits on the boards of Ariel Alternatives, LLC, Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. and Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc. Additionally, he consults for public and private companies, including Axalta and Sixth Street Partners. Previously, he was chief financial officer of DreamWorks Animation SKG, where he was integral to the company’s sale to Comcast. Prior to that, Fazal was an executive officer at DIRECTV and helped lead the company’s sale to AT&T. Earlier in his career, Fazal spent several years in investment banking at Barclays Capital and Royal Bank of Scotland and also held leadership roles at Ford Motor Company. Fazal is an advisor to various enterprises across the media and technology ecosystems. He earned a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Indiana University.
